General distribution pattern. In tropical Africa: Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zaire, and Zimbabwe. Distribution in Ethiopia. Western Ethiopia (Gambella region). Rare.
