Replaced synonym of: Hedysarum reniforme L. (1763) , nom. illeg.

Lectotype (Ohashi in Morat, Fl. Cambodge Laos Viêtnam 27: 104. 1994): J. Burman 29, Herb. Linn. No. 921.8 ( LINN) .

Current name: Desmodium renifolium (L.) Schindl. ( Fabaceae : Faboideae ).

Note: Pedley (in Taxon 46: 472. 1997) also designated material in LINN as lectotype but is pre-dated by Ohashi.
