(Figs. V-9, VI-9)

Description. Male: BL = 7.7 mm. Head dark brown and becoming lighter toward neck; antennae dark brown on antennomere I, and remainder reddish brown but getting darker apically; pronotum reddish brown medially, lightened at apical and basal area; scutellum dark brown; elytra yellowish brown; legs reddish brown except for black apices of each femur and apical dark tarsomere; ventral surface yellowish brown though meso- and metathorax darker; abdominal ventrites brownish and getting lighter apically with yellow IV and V. Head and pronotum provided with very long flying whitish hairs which are intermixed different length and randomly directed; antennae scattered with pale hairs on antennomeres I-V and thin pubescence on remainder; elytra densely furnished with two kind of hairs which are fine and short slanted whitish hairs of less than half length of long erect hairs, intermixed rather thick long erect setaceous whitish hairs throughout.

Head wider than pronotum, finely and irregularly punctured by different sized punctures on vertex and occiput with median smooth area and lateral wrinkle sculpture; genae very short; temples roundly narrowed toward neck; vertex deeply concave; antennae slightly beyond middle of elytra, relative lengths of antennomeres from base to apex as follows: 30: 10: 21: 24: 31: 26: 29: 27: 27: 26: 35.

Pronotum slightly shorter than width across lateral tubercles (PL/PW = 0.98), strongly constricted at a little behind anterior margin and slightly so before basal margin, with a blunt tubercles near middle of each side; disk weakly convex on both sides of median longitudinal indistinct depression, moderately and rather uniformly punctured except basal area which is transversely rugose. Scutellum elongate triangular.

Elytra slightly longer than twice basal width (EL/EW = 2.10), disk moderately punctured, space between punctures wider than size of each puncture.

Endophallus (Type B). Dorsal view: CT swollen toward distally, ds vestigial with horseshoe-shaped distinct lrs; PB moderately inflated laterally but narrower than CT and APH; APH elongate oval. Lateral view: CT slightly inflated ventrally; PB projected dorsally and moderately inflated to distal ventrally; APH oval.

Female: Unknown.

Etymology. Species name is dedicated to Mr. Cheng-hui Zhan, who collected this interesting species.

Type series. Holotype ( IZCAS). ♂, Nanling (南嶺), N. Guangdong, China, 1–3-IV-2011, C.-H. Zhan leg. (G- 994).

Distribution. China (Guangdong).

Ecology. Flight period: April.

Remarks. This new species is close to L. setigera , L. jinfoshana and L. testaceipennis by the elytral hairs consisting of slanted and erect hairs, but it can be distinguished by long thicker erect hairs and distinctly shorter subrecumbent hairs, very long pronotal feeble hairs, sparser elytral punctures, and the characters of endophallus.
