Witteulisna paraxena Volynkin, 2020 , Ecologica Montenegrina , 38: 130 (Type locality: “ Vietnam, Prov. Vinh Phu, Tam Dao , 60 km NW Hanoi, 950–1200m, 23°34’N, 105°20’O [E]”).

Type material examined. Holotype ( Fig. 1 ): male, “ Vietnam, Prov. Vinh Phu, Tam Dao , 60 km NW Hanoi, 950–1200m, 23°34’N, 105°20’O [E], Juni [June], 1994, Sinajev [Sinyaev] & Simonov leg.”, gen. prep. No.: MWM 35984 (prepared by Volynkin) (MWM/ ZSM) . Paratypes: 4 males, the same data as the holotype ; 1 male, Tam Dao, Tonkin (A. Duport) (MWM/ ZSM) .

Additional material examined: 96 males and 7 females, North Vietnam, Tam Dao (secondary forest), 60 km NW Hanoi , 1200m, 21°34’N 105°20’E, 1–5. V .1993, Sinyaev & Simonov leg., gen. prep. No. : ZSM Arct. 2021-146 (female) (prepared by Volynkin ) ; 1 male, N Vietnam, Mt. Fan-si-pan, W side, Cha-pa (= Sapa), 1600–1800m, 22°20’N, 103°40’E, secondary forest / agricultural area, 10. VI .–6.VII.1994, Sinyaev & local collectors leg., gen. prep. No. : ZSM Arct. 2021-145 (prepared by Volynkin ) (MWM/ ZSM) .

Distribution. The species is known from North Vietnam (Vĩnh Phúc ( Volynkin 2020) and Lào Cai Provinces).
