Remarks. According to Bezark (2023b), Monné (2023a), and Tavakilian & Chevillotte (2023), this species occurs in Brazil (Mato Grosso, Pernambuco, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, S„o Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul). However, among the specimens examined by Fragoso (1978), and not included as paratypes, he listed: “State of Mato Grosso, Murtinho (1).” Murtinho (full name Porto Murtinho) is now a city of the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul (see remarks in Cosmoplatidius lycoides ). Therefore, there is the need to add Mato Grosso do Sul in the list of Brazilian states where the species has a formal record.
