Remarks. This species was described based on a single female from Brazil (Mato Grosso). The type locality is Três Lagoas (Fazenda Cana„, margem esquerda do Rio Sucuriú). Martins (2009) corrected the state of the type locality (translated): “ Holotype [symbol of female], Brazil, Mato Grosso do Sul: Três Lagoas (Cana„ Farm, left bank of the Sucuriú River).” However, Monné (2023a) and Tavakilian & Chevillotte (2023) still listed the state of the type locality as Mato Grosso. Monné (2023a) and Bezark (2023b) listed this species from French Guiana and Brazil (Mato Grosso); Tavakilian & Chevillotte (2023) listed French Guiana and Brazil (Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul). As there is no formal record for the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, we are formally excluding the species from the fauna of the state.
