The genus Pectinimura Park, 2008 is one of the related genus to the genus Lecithocera Herrich-Schäffer, 1853 belonging to the subfamily Lecithocerinae and comprises 13 known species: four species from the Oriental Region and nine species from the Oceanian Region. The genus is characterized by the male genitalia with comb-like plate on the valva. This is the first species reported from the Afrotropical Region.
