Distribution. China ( Beijing, Henan, Nei Mongol Autonomous Region, Qinghai, Sichuan, and Shandong provinces); Japan, Korea, Russian Far East.

Remarks. Nemoura lixiana Chen, 2020 was recently described from Lixian County, Sichuan Province, without being placed in any group of Nemoura . Chen (2020) noted its similarity to N. geei . However, the cerci of the Beijing population as noted above have extra stout spines on inner membrane, a character defining his species. For females of the Beijing populations, the sternum 8 has wider lateral sclerite, but bears small lateral pit that is considered only in Sichuan population by Chen (2020). Thus, we herein placed N. lixiana as a subjective junior synonym of N. geei .
