Scyphidia sp. (in Regali-Seleghim & Godinho 2004)

Report as epibiont on rotifers: This taxon was found on rotifers Filinia longiseta , Polyarthra sp. , Keratella sp. and Brachionus sp. ( Regali-Seleghim & Godinho 2004).

Remarks: Among the infested rotifers, F.longiseta was the most frequently infested one, followed by Polyarthra sp. , Brachionus sp. and Keratella sp. ( Regali-Seleghim & Godinho 2004). This species was also found on other groups of hosts—cladocerans and copepods ( Regali-Seleghim & Godinho 2004).
