European distribution: Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Italy, Moldova, Montenegro, Portugal, Russia (European part), Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland ( NovÁk 2015; ČervenÁ et al. 2021a; WPC 2024).
Notes: Withius hispanus was recorded for the first time in Bratislava . The species was found in two habitat types, under tree bark and in pitfall traps. The recorded specimens represent the first discovery of the species and the family of Bratislava .
