Comments: These specimens differ slightly from the holotype from Amboina Island that the rostrum reaches middle of the metasternum and the metasternal laminae are not widely separated. Cottothucha oceanae , the only species of the genus, is known from Amboina Island, New Guinea, and Philippine Islands.
