Material examined: IR14, Mazandaran Province, Elbrus Mt., Valasht Lake (along Valasht road), temperature 22 ºC, 21 July 2003 (1/0/0).

Distribution: Mediterranean, Iran.

Remarks: New for the fauna of Iran.

Arrenurus (Arrenurus) cf. hanskalensis Erman & Özkan

Material examined: IR50, Markazi Province, Shahzand stream in Shahzand city, ca. 1870 m asl, 21 July 2003 (0/1/0).

Distribution: Turkey, Iran.

Remarks: The identification of Arrenurus females without accompanying male is always difficult. Although the specimen from Iran matches the description of Erman & Özkan (1997), we are not completely certain about our identification. New for the fauna of Iran.
