Observations. ARGENTINA • Multiple; Corrientes, La Cruz, Paraje Tres Cerros; 29°06′33′′S, 056°55′37′′W. Common in the study site. More often heard than seen GoogleMaps .

Identification. Differs from Basileuterus culicivorus (Swainson, 1838) in having a white eye ring and blackish eye stripe.
