Description

Pilsbry 1916 – 1918.

Distribution

Widely distributed among tropical Pacific islands, probably native to Indonesia and the tropical western Pacific ( Brook et al. 2010). In Chile, this species has been reported only from Easter Island (39°48 ʹ S, 73°14 ʹ W), Región de Valparaiso ( Boyko and Cordeiro 2001).

Possible mechanism of introduction/Status

Human transportation/unestablished ( Boyko and Cordeiro 2001).
