Notes.
Verdcourt (2000) treated this as a forest species but it also occurs in other habitats on Pemba (Table 2). It is known from the Shimba Hills ( Preston 1910; type locality) and from the Sigi Valley in the East Usambara Mts. ( Verdcourt 2006).
