Description: Adults yellowish orange. Wing expanse: 34–36 mm ( Figs. 7, 8 View FIGURES 7–10 ).
Head. Concolourous with adults. Antennae simple.
Thorax. Forewing with costa and basal area slightly suffused with reddish brown, an oblique, outwardly curved ante-medial line, distinctly curved towards inner side from below cell; speak in cell; a dark spot at discocellular; indistinct excurved post-medial line, out-curved between veins M 2 and 2A; a prominent curved sub-marginal spotted line; dark marginal line. Hindwing with basal area straw yellow; an ante-medial line starting from a speck in cell; a curved, dentate medial line from a dark spot at discocellular; followed by an indistinct post-medial line, cilia of both wings fuscous at tip. In females, markings are slightly prominent.
Male genitalia ( Figs. 21–23 View FIGURES 19–23 ). Uncus petiolated, swan head shaped, tip hairy; tegumen very broad; valvae broad with costa well differentiated, apex rounded; transtilla weakly sclerotised; saccus pointed; aedeagus elongated; vesica with two sclerotised plates.
Female genitalia ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 29–32 ). Ductus bursae sclerotised; corpus bursae long, tubular.

Distribution: Sikkim and Assam ( India), Myanmar, Java ( Hampson 1896).
