Material examined: KwaZulu­Natal: NMSA / Olig.03378 Otto’s Bluff, Martin’s Farm (29º28'56"S: 30º22'11"E) from wet soil under wattle bush and indigenous grassland, 12 January 2001, 7 cl + 17 juv, JDP, AJA, TN GoogleMaps .

Remarks: Discovered originally in the middle section of Umgeni River Valley. This new record extends the known range of the species south­east of the type locality. In the latest site species was associated with Microchaetus parvus and Microchaetus natalensis .
