Material examined: KwaZuluNatal: NMSA / Olig.03378 Otto’s Bluff, Martin’s Farm (29º28'56"S: 30º22'11"E) from wet soil under wattle bush and indigenous grassland, 12 January 2001, 7 cl + 17 juv, JDP, AJA, TN GoogleMaps .

Remarks: Discovered originally in the middle section of Umgeni River Valley. This new record extends the known range of the species southeast of the type locality. In the latest site species was associated with Microchaetus parvus and Microchaetus natalensis .
