Psalidothrips armatus Okajima View in CoL Fig. 12

Psalidothrips armatus Okajima, 1983: 6.

Comments.

This species (Fig. 12) belongs to the group in which the fore tarsus is armed with a tooth in both sexes. Wang et al. (2007) recorded a male of this species in Hainan, China. In this study, we examined the male specimen labelled as P. armatus by Zhang and Tong (1997) and considered that this single male specimen seems to be an unknown species which is similar to the male of P. angustus sp. n. or P. longidens . In China, this species so far is only recorded in Hainan.

Distribution.

China (Hainan); Thailand.
