Genus Spilogona Schnabl, 1911

Seventeen species are known from the Afrotropical Region (Pont 1980). Spilogona aristalis Zielke, 1971 was described from Namibia (Zielke 1971 b: 294, Walvis Bay and Windhoek), but was not found among material studied here.
