type locality: Democratic Republic of Congo, between Kwako and Kimpoko ; depository: MfN, Berlin (♀ holotypus) .

Material examined. Republic of Congo, Sangha prov. , N-N NP, Mbeli camp 15–19.II.2023 (Malaise trap), N.M. Bakala, V. Dérozier, A. Kirk-Spriggs, G. László (2♀) ( ANHRT & BMPC) .

Distribution. Previously known from Democratic Republic of Congo and Cameroon ( Ragge 1962), now also from Republic of Congo. It is one of the two species collected only with the Malaise trap.
