Key to Germalus species of the African Continent

1. Corium between radius and media densely punctate ( Fig. 3 ); dorsum almost unicolorous pale........................ 2.

- Corium punctate along veins (Fig. 1,2); dorsum with extensive dark markings.................................... 3.

2. Corium between R and M veins punctate in anterior half only; pronotum and scutellum with fine blackish punctuation. Lateral margins of pronotum clearly concave. Eyes slightly projecting forwards, not touching pronotum ( Fig. 3 A)................................................................................................ Germalus telekii sp. nov.

- Corium between R and M veins punctate densely for entire length; punctures of pronotum and scutellum ochraceous with a slight reddish hue. Lateral margins of pronotum very slightly concave. Eyes oriented slightly backwards ( Fig. 3 B).......................................................................................... Germalus oroszi sp. nov.

3. Dorsal punctuation blackish; corial row of punctures of clavus almost complete. Abdominal dorsum mostly black with ochraceous median band.................................................... Germalus ghesquierei Schouteden, 1957
