Description. Elongate oval. General coloration of dorsum with pale yellow to reddish brown, venter dark brown to black, almost black, especially ventral side; scutellum, membrane, and legs pale yellow; antennae reddish dark brown; hemelytra with one transverse pale yellow fascia at base, mesoscutum black, most part of membrane pale yellow. Head from above strongly transverse, 3.6x as wide as long, in front about 1.35x as wide as high; vertex at base where ocelli are borne, impunctate, about 1.5x as wider as dorsal width of eye; ocelli whitish translucent, medium sized, moderately protuberant. Eyes yellowish-golden strongly protruding laterally; rostrum with segments I, II, and IV subequal in length, each distinctly shorter than III; first segment thickest, pale yellow, others dark brown. Hemelytra generally dark reddish-brown, rather dense with sub-erect golden to dark-brown hairs. Clavus somewhat pale yellow, gradually widening backwards, cuneus 1.25x as long as wide, dark brown, with pale yellow spot at its base. Legs almost wholly bare, distal part of tibia with 6 thin spines and 2 apical ones with the diameter equal to the length.

Male: body length 4,2, width 1.86; dorsal length of head 0.34, width 1.25; width of vertex 0.56; width of eye 0.38, high 0.61; ocellus width 0.04, interocellar space 0.18; length of antennal segments: 1–4 equal to 0.34: 0.95: 0.42: 0.57; rostral segments: equal to 0.38: 0.35: 0.46; 0.30; pronotum: maximum length 0.79, anterior width 0.87, posterior width 1.48; mesoscutum length 0.23, width 1.1; scutellum length 0.47, width 0.65; claval commissure 0.84; cuneus length 0.68, 0.44; fore legs: length of femur 0.74, width 0.24; tibia 1.0, width 0.07; tarsus 0.82 (0. 3: 0. 5); hind legs: length of femur 1.21, width 0,3; tibia 1.63, width 0.07; tarsus 0.52 (0.21: 0.3).
Etymology. The species epithet is the Latin adjective robustus (=strong), referring to the large size of the insect.
Material examined. Type material. Holotype, Nr. 1560, female ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 ); Eocene. Baltic amber, light yellowish small piece of amber (9,8 x 9 ,1 x 5 ,9 mm) protect in the artificial resin (the kind of polyester).
