Description. Body length (incl. forewing): ♂, 7.3 mm. Head width (incl. eyes): 1.5–1.6 mm; head length: 1.4– 1.5mm. Crown ( Figs 1, 3 View FIGURES 1–10 ) about 4/5 length of pronotum and scutellum together.
Anal tube without process. Aedeagal shaft long and slender, with pair of slender apical processes; apodeme bilobed, extended into pair of dorsolateral antlerlike extensions, and crossing aedeagal shaft in lateral view; ventral processes absent ( Figs 8, 9 View FIGURES 1–10 ).
Type material. Holotype ♂ ( QSBG), THAILAND, Chiang Mai, Doi Phahompck NP Kiewiom 2: motane forest, 20°3.331' N 99°8.552' E, 2112 m, 11-18. Vii. 2007, Komwuan Srisom, leg. T2823. GoogleMaps
Etymology. The specific epithet, a combination of “ cerv- ” meaning deer, and “ cornutus ” meaning hornlike, refers to the antler-like aedeagal apodemes.
Remarks. This species can be easily distinguished from other species of the genus by its long and slender aedeagal shaft and elongated bilobed aedeagal apodemes ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 1–10 ).
