Males with one or two tibial clasping spurs ( Figs 24 View FIGURES 21–25 , 122 View FIGURES 119–123 ); one or two metatarsal clasping spurs ( Figs 24 View FIGURES 21–25 , 64 View FIGURES 61–65 ); with prolateral row of modified setae on the distal half of tarsus I ( Lopardo & Hormiga 2015: figs 54G, 59D); male palpal tibia either globular or elongated-globular ( Figs 6 View FIGURES 6–10 , 149 View FIGURES 149–153 ); a prolateral cymbium without internal conductor grooves or cymbial fold, but with a distinct tip, and with a hook-shaped paracymbium bent inwards ( Fig. 56 View FIGURES 56–60 ). Distribution. USA, México, Honduras, Costa Rica, Cuba, Jamaica, Trinidad, St. Vincent, Panamá, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil and Peru.
