Remarks: Xenylla brasiliensis was described using material collected in forest litter in Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais State ( Brazil). Its original description was quite brief, without illustrations of body and appendages chaetotaxy. In the present study, a large number of individuals were found in both parks. This is the first record of X. brasiliensis to littoral areas of Rio de Janeiro State.
