(micropir). És propi de la regió mediterrània, però s’estén fins a l’Europa central i a les illes macaronèsiques. Es fa en pedregars. erms, talussos, lleres de riera i clarianes de bosc, en companyia d’altres herbes anuals. S’hi troba dispers, tant en cotes altes com a baixa altitud.
