Yalvaciana (Ciplak, Heller and Demirsoy, 2002) View in CoL

Micropterous, tegmina as long as or longer than pronotum, but not reaching beyond the midpoint of the abdomen. Body large, heavy; colour black or dark brown. Head large and eyes spherical or oval. Pronotum dorsally depressed with median carina or keel present in the metazona. Males bear two processes on the tenth tergite. The apex or tip of the cercus is acute and; a tooth present in the proximal half. Female subgenital plate with two lobes. Ovipositor large and broad, black with light brownish base and weakly curved.
