Material examined. CHILE, Valdivia: 1♀ ( NMPC, transferred to alcohol vial) (Labels, kept in box IV.17: Museum Paris / Chili / Gay 15-43 (printed); 15 / 43 (handwritten round label); Valdivia (handwritten, maybe of Gay)).

Remarks. This species resembles N. illiesi Zwick, 1972 ( Fig. 24 ). However, as already noted above for N. stictica , species level identifications of isolated Neonemura females are not possible at this time.
