Type species: Kenyatta iodes Agassiz.
A monobasic genus belonging to the Grapholitini .
Distinguished from other genera by the structures of the male genitalia, and the 8th tergite of the male ( Figure 16).
Derivation
Named in honour of the first president of Kenya, a colourful character with a broad base of support across the country.
