Type species: Endotera nodi Agassiz.

A monobasic genus of moderately large size for the family.

Wing venation ( Figure 13) very similar to Eucosma . However the bases of M2 and M 3 in the hind wing are well-separated, suggesting agreement with Grapholitini .

The “flap” of membrane on the inside of the valva is a characteristic of the genus, together with the sclerotizsation on tergite 8 of the female.
