Diagnosis. Parameres nearly entirely fused to aedeagus, basally elliptically expanded in lateral view, and slightly shorter than aedeagus (Figs 19, 20).

Description. Male terminalia: Epandrium small, constricted more than 1/2 width mid-dorsally, with ca. 21 setae near posterior to ventral margins on each site (Fig. 17). Surstylus, 10th sternite and hypandrium like as in A. protuberantis sp. nov. (Figs 10, 18). Parameres submedially with ca. 6 sensilla (Figs 19, 20).

Measurements. BL = 2.70 mm in holotype (range in 4ɗɗ paratypes, 2.24–2.76 mm); ThL = 1.28 mm (1.14–1.18 mm); WL= 2.48 mm (2.44–2.76 mm); WW = 0.94 mm (0.82–1.02 mm). Indices: arb = 5/2(5/2–6/ 3), avd = 1.11 (1.11–1.25), adf = 2.00 (1.80–2.00), flw = 1.80 (1.80), FW/HW = 0.38 (0.38–0.41), ch/o = 0.07 (0.07), prorb = 1.09 (1.08–1.09), rcorb = 0.91 (0.82–0.90), vb = 0.57, dcl = 0.50 (0.52–0.57), presctl = 0.46 (0.47–0.50), sctl = 1.17 (1.18–1.24), sterno = 0.79 (0.77–0.79), orbito = 2.00 (2.00–2.25), dcp = 0.25 (0.23–0.25), sctlp = 1.25, C = 1.59 (1.44–1.65), 4c = 1.55 (1.57–1.72), 4v = 2.32 (2.38–2.72), 5x = 1.30 (1.40–1.60), ac = 5.17 (5.14–5.67), M = 0.62 (0.62–0.72), C3F = 0.89 (0.84–0.86).

Type materials. Holotype ɗ ( SCAU, No. 120463), labelled “ CHINA: Menglun, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, 17.iv.2007, ex tree trunk, HW Chen”. Paratypes: 6ɗɗ (2ɗɗ, KIZ; 4ɗɗ, SCAU, Nos 120464 -67), same data as the holotype except 17–20.iv.2007.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Etymology. Patronym, in gratitude of Ms. Y Cheng (SCAU) who drew some figures of the new species.
