Neoaulobia Fain et al., 2000: 40 View in CoL .
Type species: Neoaulobia aratingae Fain, Bochkov and Mironov, 2000 , by original designation.
To date, this genus has included seven species associated exclusively with parrots ( Fain et al. 2000; Bochkov & Perez 2002; Skoracki 2005), with one species, Neoaulobia krafti Skoracki, 2005 , recorded from representative of the family Cacatuidae . Herein, we describe a new species, Neoaulobia cacatui sp. nov., collected from Calyptorhynchus funereus (Shaw) from Australia and Probosciger aterrimus (Gmelin) from Papua New Guinea.
