Description. Body length 61–96 mm; males with 77, 79, 81, 83, 87 (each 1 specimen) leg-bearing segments, females with 79, 81, 83 (2, 3, 2 specimens, respectively) leg-bearing segments. Labral median arc well-developed, its surface divided in numerous denticles ( Fig. 9 View Figures 2–21 ). Maxillary complex: telopodites of the first maxillae much longer than the small coxal projections; lappets of both coxosternite and telopodites absent. The second maxillae: coxosternite entire ( Fig. 10 View Figures 2–21 ). Forcipular coxosternite without denticles, chitin-lines reaching the condyles. Forcipular tarsungula, when closed, not drawn beyond anterior margin of the head ( Fig. 8 View Figures 2–21 ). Each metasternite from 1 to penultimate with a single transverse bean-shaped pore-field ( Fig. 11 View Figures 2–21 ). Ultimate sternite pentagonal ( Fig. 12 View Figures 2–21 ). Coxopleural pores (up to 6) opening inside a deep dorsal fossae, covered by lateral margin of trapeziform tergite (arrow in Fig. 13 View Figures 2–21 ).

Distribution. Known from the Tashkent Region of Uzbekistan ( Sseliwanoff 1881; Lignau 1929a). Kazakhstan: South Kazakhstan, Almaty, Mangystau and Kyzylorda regions.

Remarks. The morphological characters correspond well to the descriptions by Sseliwanoff (1881) and Lignau (1929a). This species is new to the fauna of Kazakhstan.
