Description. Male. Body small, granulated, brown to dark brown. In dorsal view, vertex is just in level of the distal margin of the compound eyes, in frontal view slightly concave, median carina of vertex present in the distal half of the length of the vertex, elevated. Lateral carinae of the vertex present, strongly elevated, punctured. Supraocular lobe present. Vertex narrower than a compound eye. Median ocellus situated for below the level of the lower margin of the compound eyes, in the place of where facial carinae end. Lateral ocelli situated in between of compound eyes. Frontal costa bifurcates into facial carinae between the lateral ocelli and facial carinae run parallel to the median ocelli forming broad scutellum. Antennal grooves situated inferior margin of compound eyes. Antennal groove wider than scutellum, scapus narrower than scutellum. Eyes in frontal view sub-globular, in lateral view sub-globular.

Pronotum. Pronotum truncate anteriorly, extend upto the 10th abdominal segment, acute at apex, dorsum flattened, granulated, with well-developed rugosity and tubercles. Extralateral carinae fused to humero-apical carinae and forming slightly convex, obtuse, rounded angle. Interhumeral carinae distinct, posterior angles of lateral lobes of pronotum wide, truncated. Tegmen elongate, narrow at both ends. Wings extended upto 4th or 5th segments of abdomen.

Legs. Fore legs: Femora 3.4 times as long as wide, upper and lower margins of femora straight; serration on external face indistinct; tibia clothed with 8 spines and some small hairs; second tarsal segments 3 times longer than first. Mid legs: Femora 3.5 times as long as wide, serrated carina on external face distinct, upper and lower mid carinae with several black warts, tibiae clothed with 5 spines and some hairs; second tarsal segments 4 times longer than first. Width of mid femora subequal width of the visible part of tegmina. Hind legs: Femora robust 2.5 times as long as wide, upper margins serrated, tibiae with 9 outer and 7 inner spines. First tarsal segments 1.5 times longer than third; tip of pulvilli I and II spinulately produced and pulvilli III obtusely, pulvilli III distinctly longer than length of I and II pulvilli. Subgenital plate 1.6 times as long as wide, apex with v-shaped incision; cerci cylindrical with obtuse tip.

Female: Very similar to male but slightly larger in size. Subgenital plate in ventral view square shaped; Ovipositor elongated. Epiproct as long as wide near the base, with obtuse apex. Cerci cylindrical, wide near the base with obtuse tip.

Coloration. Body color from brown to dark blackish. Pronotal tubercles usually dark black. Fore tibiae, mid tibiae and hind tibiae with two dark brown hues, genicular lobe of hind femora dark brown; fore legs of iii tarsal segment with dark black brown hue. Ventral region of hind femora dark black color. Tip of spines dark blackish.
