WL: 18mm. The species is common in degraded forest areas. It is distributed in West Africa from Senegal to Nigeria, but extends to Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, CAR, DRC, Uganda and southern Sudan . The caterpillars feed on grasses ( Poaceae ).
