17. Pinacopteryx eriphia tritogenia ( Klug, 1829)

WL: 23mm. The species occurs in Sudan savanna and the Sahel, and was previously recorded from Guinea- Bissau without a precise location. The present subspecies ranges from Mauritania to northern Nigeria, Chad, northern Ethiopia, Sudan and the southern Arabian Peninsula. Caterpillars feed on several Capparaceae .
