WL: 16mm. This is a ubiquitous species widely distributed throughout the World. Caterpillars are polyphagous and live on Fabaceae  , frequently inside the pods.

Studied material. Cacheu: Caió , 1 specimen (JB). 

Previous references. Regions: Bafatá, Biombo, Bissau, Quinara. Authors: Aurivillius (1910), Larsen (2005), Mendes et al. (2008).
