WL: 18mm. I. eurisus is new for Guinea-Bissau. It is quite similar to I. menas , but has a larger black apical area on the forewing and the males are a deeper blue. The present subspecies flies from Senegal to Ivory Coast and the nominate one from Ghana to Nigeria. The host-plants are unknown.
Studied material. Cacheu: Caió , 1 specimen in 2007 (JB).
Probable abundance and proposed status. AB: R; CS: VU.
