Otostigmus carinatus Porat, 1876, by subsequent designation ( Pocock 1891: 229).
Remarks.
Lewis (2010) counted 58 species in the subgenus Otostigmus Otostigmus . Niu et al. (2021) described O. xizangensis from China; Vu et al. (2022) described O. consonensis Vu, 2022 from Vietnam; Liu et al. (2022) revalidated O. (O.) lewisi . The subgenus Otostigmus Otostigmus now comprises 62 species and is the largest subgenus in Otostigmus .
