Holotype.

ZMB 36094, "Mohasi-See, Ruanda" [Lake Muhazi, Eastern Province, Rwanda], coll. Johann Gustav Hermann Schubotz, 29.VII.1907.

Present name.

Hyperolius viridiflavus ( Duméril & Bibron, 1841).

Remarks.

Depicted in Ahl (1931b: 360, fig. 236). The holotype was collected during the first "Deutsche Zentral-Afrika-Expedition", 1907-1908.
