Type locality. Russia, Republic of Karelia, Sil’ga settlement.
Type host. Sicista betulina (Pallas, 1779) .
Principal hosts. Birch mice of the genus Sicista Gray, 1827 .
Distribution. A. dogieli is known from several regions of the former USSR, including European Russia, Northern Kazakhstan, and the Tien Shan Mts in Central Asia ( Lange, 1958). In Asiatic Russia, it has been recorded in several localities in the Novosibirsk and Tomsk Regions, Western Siberia ( Davydova & Belova, 1972; ORINF archives, unpublished).
