Current accepted combination: Bebearia cocalia cocalia (Fabricius, 1793) (see Larsen, 2005).

C.W.N.Holmes, May 2000.” [Handwritten (by Holmes) on orange card]. Remarks: This specimen is without doubt the neotype designated by Holmes (2001) to stabilise the concept of Bebearia cocalia (Fabricius, 1793) . It is illustrated in Figures 8 and 9 (ibidem).
