Headweaklyoblong ( Figs 1–2), approximately 1.05–1.10 timesaslongaswide; la marginsindorsalviewstraightandslightlydivergingposteriad; punctationcoarse, i lar, andsparse, inlateralareaslightlydenserthaninmedio-dorsalarea; pubescen andbrownishbutnotdense; microsculptureabsent, eyesverysmall ( Fig. 2), slightl jectingfromlateraloutlineofhead, postocularregionindorsalviewapproximately 2.5 timesaslongaseyes. Antennaemoderatelyslender, approximately 0.70–0.75 mmlong
Pronotumapproximately 0.90 timesaswideashead ( Figs 1–2), andabout 1.05 ti aslongaswide; lateralmarginssubparallelanddivergingposteriadindorsalview; mi sculptureabsent; punctationsomewhatcoarser, mediallineimpunctate, slightlysm anddenserthanthatofhead; pubescencesimilartothatofhead, butslightlydenser well- definedthanthat; lateralmarginofpronotumwithseveralbrownblackishsetae.
Elytraapproximatelyaswideaspronotum ( Figs 1–2) andatsutureabout 0.75– timesaslongaspronotum; punctationweaklygranulose, andfineranddenserthan ofpronotumandhead; microsculptureinvisible; pubescenceblackordarkbrown, distinctthanthatofheadandpronotum. Hindwingscompletelyreduced.
Abdomenwiderthanelytra ( Fig. 1), approximately 1.05–1.10 timesaswideasel widestatsegmentsVI–VII; punctationdenseandfine; microsculptureshallow; pubesce brownandsparse; posteriormarginoftergiteVIIwithoutpalisadefringe.

Etymology – ThespeciesisdedicatedtoSemihÖrgel, Manisa, whocollectedsomeof thetypespecimensofthisnewspecies.
Comparativenotes – Thespeciesisdistinguishedfromallitscongen bythemalesexualcharacters, especiallybytheventralprocessoftheaede gus, whichisofdifferentshape, particularlyinlateralview. Basedon similarmorphologyofthemaleprimaryandsecondarysexualcharacters, newspeciesiscloselyrelatedto S. tauricus Anlaş, 2018 (Karaman, Yüğ Hill), S. tuberiventris Assing, 2001 (Mersin, Sertavulpass) S. wunderlei Ass 2001 (Mersin, Gülnar) and S. balkarensis Assing, 2001 (Mersin, Çamlıyay Thenewspeciesisreadilyseparatedfromthesespeciesasfollows:
From S. tauricus by the presence of a tubercule on abdominal sternite
(in S. tauricus : sternite VIII in posterior median area without tubercle), by slenderventralprocessoftheaedeagusinlateralview, bythedifferentsh andtheseriesoffourspinesintheinternalsac (in S. tauricus : internalsacw aseriesofsixmixedlargeandsmallspines).
