Original data: “ a. North Hindostan. From Capt. Reid’s collection.” [holotype]
HOLOTYPE ♀: red-margined holotype disc; green-margined type disc; “n Ind / 55 76”; “6. PICROMERUS OBTUSUS .”; “NHMUK 010592294”. Fifth left antennomere missing ( Fig. 131 View FIGURES 129–136 ).
Current status: Picromerus griseus ( Dallas, 1851) (synonymised by Schouteden 1907: 25; see Distant 1908: 453; Zhao et al. 2013a: 149).
