Distribution in Iran. Khuzestan (Linnavuori 2009), Tehran (Hoberlandt 1983; Safavi 1984a; Modarres Awal 1997).

General distribution. Circum Mediterranean to Central Asia; imported (sustainably established?) in California and Chile (Péricart 1990; Lindskog 1995; Fent et al. 2011).
