Material examined— Hidalgo: Tlanchinol, Reithrodontomys chrysopsis chrysopsis (= R. chrysopsis ) Merriam, 1997, B. Salceda, 5 males, 2 females; Tenango de Doria, 1 female; Tolaltongo, 1 male.

Remarks—Previously recorded on R. c. chrysopsis in the central portion of the country ( Table 1).
