Material examined. INDONESIA: SULAWESI: 6 ♂♂, 9 ♀♀: Tengah, nr. Morowali, Ranu River Area . Lowland rain forest , fallen Dillenea flowers. 27.01– 20.04.1980. M.J.D. Brendell ( BMNH) .

Remarks. Paraphloeostiba steeli was recently described from Papua New Guinea. It is here recorded from Indonesia for the first time.
