Habitat. Sandy muddy substrate at seagrass bed and rocky shore, intertidal.
Distribution. East coast of Africa to Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, and Fiji. Indonesia: Kalimantan, Lombok, Sulawesi, and Maluku.
Remarks. The yellow or yellowish cream of dactylus of the second and third pereopods, and the green or dark green of the propodus, carpus and merus are characteristic for this species. Morgan (1985) and Yoshikawa et al. (2020) recorded the color variation of this species.
