Clibanarius striolatus Dana, 1852 View in CoL
( Fig. 7E)
Habitat. Mud substrate near mangrove or seagrass bed, intertidal.
Distribution. From the Red Sea, and the Indian Ocean to the Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan. Indonesia: Jawa, Kalimantan, Lombok, Sulawesi, and Maluku.
Remarks. This is a very common species in Indonesian waters. The dark brown stripes on the light green ambulatory legs easily separated this species from the congeners.
Dana JD 1852. Crustacea, part I. United States Exploring Expedition, during the years 1838, 1839, 1840, 1841, 1842, under the command of Charles Wilkes, U. S. N., Vol. 13. C. Sherman, Philadelphia (Reprinted Antiquariaat Junk, Lochem, Netherlands, 1972).
