This species has a worldwide distribution: Algeria, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, France, Guatemala, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Taiwan, Uruguay, USA, and Venezuela. The measurements of females and males collected in Guadeloupe agree well with those given by Athias­Henriot (1977).
